OpenAI Inc. revealed in a statement to Axios released on Friday that it will delay the release of Astra, its upcoming artificial intelligence (AI) model focused on performing more complex and multi-agent tasks, citing cybersecurity concerns.
OpenAI explained that it "cannot rule out critical cyber capabilities," which is why it decided to perform additional safety and security tests.
Recently, OpenAI announced that the number of active users of its models has reached one billion.
