'Oman condemns attacks on ships in Hormuz'

 Omani authorities condemned recent attacks on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, Oman News Agency (ONA) shared on Saturday, calling it a violation of international law and a threat to safe naval navigation.

In the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement, carried by the media, the country reiterated that ongoing talks on the management of the Strait of Hormuz are being conducted in a "positive and constructive atmosphere," emphasizing the need to avoid any potential actions that could jeopardize the negotiations and their progress.

Earlier in the day, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a vessel was struck by an unknown projectile near the coast of Oman.
