Fire at Aramco facility in Jizan extinguished

 Saudi Arabia's energy ministry said a fire that erupted at a Saudi Aramco facility in the company's refinery in Jizan had been extinguished.

The blaze was contained by the company's industrial firefighting teams, the ministry said on X. "The competent authorities are completing the necessary procedures to deal with the incident," it noted, adding that there were no injuries.

Separately, an unconfirmed report said earlier that gas facilities in the country's Jubail region were targeted and that a fire broke out at the site.
