FDA Begins Real-Time Reporting of Adverse Event Data

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration began daily publication of adverse event data from the FDA  Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS). This represents a significant step forward in modernizing the agency’s safety monitoring infrastructure and demonstrates its commitment to radical transparency and real-time protection of public health.

“Adverse event reporting should be fast, seamless and transparent,” said FDA Commissioner Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H. “People who navigate the government’s clunky adverse event reporting websites should not have to wait months for that information to become public. We’re closing that waiting period and will continue to streamline the process from start to finish.”

FAERS is the FDA's primary database for collecting and analyzing adverse event reports, serious medication errors, and product quality complaints for prescription drugs and therapeutic biologics, containing reports submitted by healthcare professionals, consumers, and manufacturers.

The shift is one of many steps in the FDA's broader data modernization strategy to streamline all of its adverse event reporting systems and increase reporting frequency across all systems to identify safety signals faster.

The public can view the latest adverse event data on the FAERS Public Dashboard. Healthcare professionals and consumers are encouraged to report adverse events to the FDA’s MedWatch site.

No, Zohran, selling sex is not legitimate ‘work’

Realizing that his pro-prostitution posturing won’t fly with city voters, Zohran Mamdani is trying to hide behind . . . Bill de Blasio.

Seriously.

Mamdani’s record is too clear to shake: He has said over and over that he wants to decriminalize prostitution — or “sex work,” as he and his fellow radicals call it, as if the euphemism somehow makes the reality any less awful.

They want you to imagine high-end hookers, not the far greater numbers of women forced to sell their bodies to benefit brutal pimps, nor the countless girls kidnapped and otherwise trafficked into the trade.

Asked Wednesday about his longtime support for this rancid industry, Mamdani deflected, saying it’s about “the outcomes of public safety.”

As if there’s any “safety” in women selling their bodies for money.

The Democratic nominee added that he’d look to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s approach to prostitution because “it created far more safety” than we’ve seen since.

In fact, de Blasio only joined the rush to embrace “sex work” as his mayoralty was ending and the left was trying to expand the “reform” thinking that had already given New York the no-bail law, “violence interrupters,” a let-’em-lose Parole Board, pot legalization and a host of other dubious “progress.”

Please note: Andrew Cuomo, who’s now preaching on the horrors of hookers to embarrass Mamdani, in early 2021 signed a law repealing statutes against loitering for the purpose of prostitution.

Progressives, in short, laid the ground for the explosion of prostitution that soon followed along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens and in the “Penn Track” section of Brooklyn.

As always, gang activity, illegal-drug dealing and other disorder rushed in along with the flesh trade.

In other words, it’s precisely Mamdani’s favored “decriminalization” approach that’s brought the “outcomes of public safety” he now deems inferior.

Incidentally, this is an area where Mamdani and his Democratic Socialists don’t want to follow Scandinavia.

You see, the “Nordic model” on prostitution looks to “curb demand” by arresting pimps and clients, while offering prostitutes pro-social options to leave “the life.”

That’s no good, per Mamdani, because “it guarantees continued police raids at sex workers’ places of business.”

Well, yeah: That’s how you catch people breaking the law.

But: “You can’t police customers without policing sex workers,” insists top Mamdani ally City Councilwoman Tiffany Caban (D-Astoria), as if policing were inherently oppressive.

Of course, “oppressive” is just what Caban and Mamdani believe about policing, though Zohran’s now doing his best to fudge on that, too.

You needn’t be some hidebound traditional moralist to see having sex for money as inherently dehumanizing; it’s the advocates who insist it’s “empowering” who’ve left reality behind.

Mamdani is committed to a host of absurd beliefs that he’s now trying to conceal, but the most repulsive may be the ones that would welcome New York City becoming a magnet for the kind of scum who sell women.

Trump caught Democrats in a trap — torn by their Medicaid lies

This week, President Trump officially launched his push to remove illegal aliens from state Medicaid rolls by cross-checking them against federal databases, a move that’s sure to send Democrats running to the courts yet again.

But when it comes to illegal immigrants and welfare, Democrats have a serious problem — and it’s not just their continuing slide in favorability.

It’s that they just can’t make up their minds about whether those here illegally are receiving federal Medicaid dollars at all.

When Congress was debating Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill Act, one of the left’s oft-repeated refrains was that there was no need to ban illegal aliens from Medicaid’s rolls — because giving them its benefits was already against the law.

They conveniently forgot to mention the 12 states that explicitly expanded non-emergency Medicaid coverage to illegal immigrants, and the other gaping loopholes being exploited nationwide.

But in June, Trump made a move that forced Democrats to drop the act and show their hand: His Health and Human Services Department began sharing Medicaid data from four states and Washington, DC, with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Cue the outrage.

Within days, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, New York AG Letitia James and 19 other blue states filed suit in federal court to block the data-sharing — and gave up the game in the process.

Democrats love to lie in the court of public opinion — but in a courtroom, you’ve got to tell the truth.

And by suing to stop Team Trump, they practically confessed: Illegal aliens are on Medicaid, and blue states are desperate to keep it that way.

Since then, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz have doubled down, expanding their partnership with ICE to include nationwide Medicaid data.

To help their effort, Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) demanded that New York Gov. Kathy Hochul cough up the data on Medicaid-receiving illegal immigrants in the Empire State, citing her legal obligations to regularly report enrollment and eligibility data to the federal government.

The Democrats’ lawsuits continue their track record of fighting beyond the limits of their power to protect illegal aliens — in this case by keeping their Medicaid data “safe” — while endangering law-abiding Americans.

Their claims that no illegal aliens take advantage of Medicaid benefits also fly in the face of Medicaid’s own records.

Between 2021 and 2023, taxpayers spent at least $16 billion on emergency services for illegal immigrants, CMS has reported, with federal taxpayers covering more than 70% of those costs.

When you add in the billions likely spent on non-emergency services in direct circumvention of federal law, the total figure of Medicaid resources going to illegal aliens is incalculable — an enormous transfer of wealth from Americans to non-citizens who shouldn’t be here at all.

Welfare benefits like Medicaid have been some of the strongest magnets spurring mass migration into this country and encouraging people to illegally stay.

Halting those perks, as Trump and Republicans in Congress are rightly doing, will do much to turn the magnet off.

Stealing from Medicaid is especially grievous because the program is intended to help America’s most vulnerable, including low-income children and people with disabilities.

When illegal aliens or other ineligible people take Medicaid, they not only suck up taxpayer resources, they reroute precious resources from legitimate Medicaid recipients who already have to compete for a limited pool of providers.

It’s downright despicable — yet Democrats in Congress and in at least 20 blue states seem more than happy to run interference to ensure that it continues.

Some Democrats are begging for their party to moderate after November’s resounding defeat.

Some — like New York City primary voters — are sprinting further to the left.

If they want to appeal to the majority of voters in the coming midterms, though, they need to get their Medicaid stories straight.

More important, they need to get their priorities straight.

Instead of robbing from taxpayers to give to law-breakers, Democrats should protect Medicaid for the Americans who truly need it.

They could do that by following the lead of Republicans like Gov. Jeff Landry of Louisiana, who just signed a law referring illegal aliens fraudulently receiving welfare to ICE so they can be deported.

If Democrats can’t make up their minds about illegal aliens and welfare, the American people will make up their minds about the Democrats — and keep rejecting them at the ballot box.

Trump ‘was never inappropriate with anybody,’ Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell told DOJ

The late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, told Justice Department officials last month that President Trump was “never inappropriate with anybody” in the time the disgraced financier and future commander in chief were friends.

Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, sat for two days of interviews led by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in Tallahassee, Fla., last month.

“I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way,” Maxwell told Blanche of her interactions with Trump when he was still an associate of Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Audio and transcripts of the interviews were released Friday as the Trump administration seeks to quash rampant speculation about Epstein, who was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell Aug. 10, 2019.

Maxwell, 63, went on in the interview to push back on almost every conspiratorial accusation leveled about Epstein since his first guilty plea in Florida to soliciting sex from a minor, which saw him confined for 13 months — much of that time on work release.

Those included allegations that the disgraced financier had a so-called “client list” of rich and influential associates who were either involved in or blackmailed by Epstein to keep quiet about a shadowy sex trafficking ring that preyed on girls as young as 14.

Maxwell likened the claims to “a Salem witch trial” frenzy against powerful politicians like former President Bill Clinton.

“That narrative that was created and then built upon, and it just mushroomed into what — basically this is like a Salem witch trial,” she explained.

Audio and transcripts of the interviews with Ghislaine were released Friday.

“People have gone and lost their minds for this thing. I understand that. But the issue is, how do you satisfy a mob who can’t understand the lifestyle? Because it’s like P. Diddy in redux on TV with Clintons and Trump,” Maxwell continued.

“I mean, it’s — it’s bananas. And while some of it is real — he [Epstein] did do those things, I’m definitely not disputing that,” she added.

“But this was a man, they didn’t even believe he had a real business. I happen to believe he did.

“He’s not that interesting,” Maxwell summed up her former lover at one point. “He’s a disgusting guy who did terrible things to young kids.”

Maxwell did break with the official story on one point, saying of Epstein “I do not believe he died by suicide,” contradicting the conclusion of a July 6 memo released by the DOJ and FBI.

She added that it was “possible” the 66-year-old was targeted in his Manhattan jail by others, but she didn’t believe that his so-called “blackmail” was being avenged.

“I don’t think Epstein had a hit on like that. If it is indeed murder, I believe it was an internal situation,” she claimed.

“In prison, where I am, they will kill you or they will pay — somebody can pay a prisoner to kill you for $25 worth of commissary. That’s about the going rate for a hit with a lock today.”

The Republican-led House Oversight Committee revealed that it had also received copies of the Maxwell transcripts “in addition to many other records” on Friday following a request to the DOJ, per a spokeswoman.

“It’s a lot—tens of thousands of pages,” the committee rep added of the first document production.

“The Committee intends to make these records public after thorough review to ensure any victims’ identification and child sexual abuse material are redacted. The Committee will also consult with the DOJ to ensure any documents released do not negatively impact ongoing criminal cases and investigations.”

Everything That's Wrong With The Leftist Media In One (Now Deleted) Post

 by Steve Watson via Modernity.news,

After video of a man being detained by ICE Wednesday quickly circulated, one reporter suggested that it would never be revealed who he is or where he had been taken, only for all those details to emerge just minutes later, and completely humiliate the ‘journalist’.

The footage shows the guy trying to get away from ICE in DC, but being detained and then crying and whining like a baby.

Miami Herald ‘investigative journalist’ Julie Brown published a post whinging that “his crying…hits me in the gut.”

“We will probably never be told who he is, why he was stopped or if he was here illegally,” she added.

She soon got an answer as an NBC reporter revealed that ICE confirmed the guy’s name, that he was illegally here from Mexico and had been previously arrested and charged with sexual battery against a 13 year-old-child.

Ms Brown instantly deleted her previous post.

The internet is forever.

It just keeps happening.

Fox News anchor Jessica Tarlov also deleted a post after writing “This doesn’t make D.C. safer. It’ll just make people not come to D.C. The cruelty is always the point.”

Trump advisor Stephen Miller called her out and she had to eat crow.

The Democrats are now literally the party of pro illegal immigration and a desire for continued rampant criminality.

Have these ‘journalists’ ever heard of verifying facts before splurting out their TDS riddled shit-posts.
