Abbott Laboratories (ABT) has received the necessary approval from Exact Sciences’ shareholders for its planned acquisition of the company. This approval was granted during a special meeting of Exact Sciences’ stockholders.
The completion of this transaction is anticipated to occur by the end of the second quarter of 2026, pending the fulfillment or waiver of all remaining closing conditions.
