China urges US to cancel unilateral tariffs

 The Chinese Commerce Ministry said on Monday that it noted the United States Supreme Court's ruling striking down the Trump administration's tariffs. It reiterated that "there are no winners in a trade war, and protectionism leads nowhere."

The ministry also said it is closely monitoring further developments, including any alternative means of imposing tariffs. It urged the US to cancel its unilateral measures, stating that they "violate both international trade rules and US domestic law, and are not in the interests of any party." The ministry repeated that China will continue to "firmly safeguard" its interests in its relations with the US.
