At least 64 people were injured in the city of Arad in southern Israel after an Iranian missile impacted the area, Israel's national emergency service, Magen David Adom, said.
The service stated seven people sustained serious injuries, adding that search and rescue operations on the scene are still ongoing. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described it as a "difficult evening" for the country, stating he spoke with the mayor of Arad.
Earlier during the evening on Saturday, local time, an Iranian missile resulted in 47 injuries in Dimona in Israel's south.
