Russian Direct Investment Fund CEO and top diplomat Kirill Dmitriev predicted on Saturday that the ongoing energy crisis will "decimate" United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his government.
In a post on X, Dmitriev responded to British journalist Piers Morgan's claim that the conflict in the Middle East will bring about "very serious consequences" for the UK. "Prices will continue to rise, with cascading effects on ALL other sectors and inflation," Dmitriev noticed in an earlier post.
The comment comes after London allowed the United States to use British military bases for strikes on Iran.
