'Iran: We aren't seeking to make nuclear bomb'

 Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated on Thursday that Tehran is not seeking to manufacture a nuclear bomb from the stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

"If we had wanted to make a nuclear bomb, we would have done so," Baghaei said.

Earlier this month, the spokesperson ruled out the possibility of transferring Iran's enriched uranium to the United States, claiming that "enriched uranium is as sacred to us as Iranian soil and will not be transferred anywhere under any circumstances."
