Mohsen Rezaei, a senior military adviser to Iran's supreme leader and former commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, slammed Washington's rhetoric surrounding the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
"No country is capable of blocking Iran's oil exports. The President of the United States [Donald Trump] is advised to focus on organizing the chaos prevailing over the U.S. government, economy, and armed forces, instead of engaging in empty boasting," Rezaei wrote on X.
His comments come after Trump announced last Friday that he had cancelled the US envoys' trip to Islamabad, claiming that Tehran's leadership is experiencing "infighting."
