Four people were killed in three consecutive Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).
The first strike targeted an area near Nabatieh, and the second involved a drone attack on a car in the Mayfadoun municipality. Another airstrike subsequently hit the same area and the nearby town of Shoukine. A number of people were also injured in the air raids.
Israel had previously vowed it would maintain a military presence in Lebanon, despite the deal reached between the United States and Iran, which was said to include a complete ceasefire on all fronts, as well as Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.
