Kuwait reports 'hostile missile and drone attacks'

 Kuwait's military said that its air defenses are "currently confronting hostile missile and drone attacks."

The Kuwait Army urged citizens to adhere to security instructions and noted that "if explosion sounds are heard, they are the result of air defense systems intercepting the hostile attacks."

The alert comes as the fighting in the region between the United States and Iran resumed on Friday after Washington accused Tehran of violating their ceasefire agreement. Earlier, Kuwait condemned Iran's attacks on Bahrain after it said that Iranian drones targeted its territory.
