SpaceX CEO and the wealthiest man in the world, Elon Musk, warned Ukraine that the Starlink network cannot be used for offensive operations.
"Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company," Musk said in a response to Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov's post on X, in which he thanked Musk for restoring Starlink network speed and urged him to remove Starshield's speed limit.
SpaceX CEO explained that Starshield is built for and owned by the US government. "Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military" and US President Donald Trump.
