Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed on Tuesday that Russia is altering the course of Ukrainian drones through electronic warfare systems, causing them to enter the airspace of neighboring countries.
In a post on X, Zelensky said that when drones appear in the skies over Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia after Ukrainian strikes, "we understand that the Russians may be altering the course of our drones." He added that such incidents were caused by Russian electronic warfare systems and accused Moscow of seeking to escalate tensions within the European Union.
Zelensky said Ukraine and Estonia signed a joint declaration on security and defense cooperation, including air defense, defense industry cooperation, and the exchange of experience. He added that Kyiv is prepared to share expertise on countering drone threats with European partners and send expert teams under the "Drone Deal" format. Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Russia is in a "situation of failure."
