CME Group Inc. restarted trading on its main natural gas futures and options contracts after a brief halt due to technical issues, the exchange said in an alert on its website.
The disruption in trading comes about a month after a glitch paused trading in benchmark US natural gas futures, which traders say distorted key settlement values. The latest interruption comes on the day that the March natural gas futures contract is set to expire.
