Hillary Clinton deposition halted after unauthorized pic by Rep. Lauren Boebert

The House Oversight Committee briefly paused a deposition of Hillary Clinton after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) potentially violated rules by taking and leaking a photo of the ex-secretary of state midway through her testimony.

"The hearing just went off the record for a moment," a staffer for Clinton told reporters, "which is against chamber rules that were read at the top of the meeting."

An aide informs media outside the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center that the deposition of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is testifying before U.S. House lawmakers as part of a congressional investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been paused after a photo was leaked from proceedings, Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, in Chappaqua, N.Y. The staffer said Oversight staff were seeking to find out "where the photo came from" and "why possibly members of Congress are violating House rules."

Right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson posted an image of Hillary Clinton testifying about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, noting that the photo was "provided by Rep. Lauren Boebert."
