Israel will ask the United States to pressure Iran to end its nuclear program, as well as to abandon ballistic missile production and halt support for its proxies that pose a threat to the country, Channel 12 reported on Monday.
The outlet also reported that Israel will not oppose the prospect of conducting airstrikes on Iran if necessary.
The report came ahead of the planned meeting between US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Istanbul. Before that, Witkoff will visit Israel and meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
