The head of the Russian negotiating team, Vladimir Medinsky (pictured), confirmed on Wednesday that his delegation held a private two-hour meeting with the Ukrainian delegation after today's trilateral talks with the United States were finished.
Medinsky previously described today's third round of negotiations with the teams from Ukraine and the US as "difficult," but "businesslike." Meanwhile, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia remains interested in continuing the trade and economic relations with Washington.
