Russia's FSB: Telegram threat for troops at front

 The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) warned on Saturday that the use of social media Telegram poses a threat to the lives of troops deployed along the frontlines in Ukraine. Previously, it was reported that Moscow has been throttling access to the app.

"The Federal Security Service has reliable information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces and intelligence agencies are able to quickly obtain information posted on the Telegram messenger and use it for military purposes," the service said. The threat emerged during the past three months, it added.

On the other hand, Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov had accused Russian authorities of attempting to censor the messaging app.
