'Iran said to ponder limited pass through Hormuz'

 Iran is considering allowing limited passage of fuel tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, CNN reported.

According to an Iranian source familiar with the matter, Tehran is preparing a new strategy to enable oil transport through the strait, which could include allowing a limited number of vessels crossing it.

Previously, Iran insisted that it has not closed Hormuz entirely, allowing some ships through it, such as those from Turkey. Meanwhile, it was reported that the United States could deploy more warships near the strait to protect tankers from Iran's attacks.
