The Saudi Defence Ministry announced on Friday that the country's forces intercepted a drone targeting Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter, which houses foreign embassies.
The Kingdom's ministry wrote on X that the "hostile drone" was shot down "during an attempt to approach the Diplomatic Quarter." Around the same time, the ministry added, three other drones were neutralized in the Empty Quarter and the Al-Kharj Governorate
