Saudi Arabian Oil Company, also known as Saudi Aramco, is supposedly in talks with at least two Ukrainian firms in order to buy interceptor drones that could protect its oil fields from Iranian airstrikes, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
According to sources with knowledge of the matter, cited by the news outlet, the company is currently in talks with Ukrainian companies SkyFall and Wild Hornets, both of which produce drones that crash into or explode close to other drones.
Moreover, recent media reports suggested that Saudi Arabia is also planning to buy air defense equipment from Ukraine, including interceptor drones and other electronic warfare.
