The Iranian Armed Forces' Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters threatened to destroy the oil infrastructure linked to the United States in response to that country's attack on Kharg Island.
In a statement shared by state agencies, the headquarters told the companies supplying oil to the US that their facilities would "immediately be destroyed and turned into a pile of ashes" if Iran's infrastructure was targeted again.
Previously, US President Donald Trump claimed that his country "obliterated" all military targets in Kharg Island, sometimes described as Iran's oil hub. Later, he posted satellite imagery of the attack on Truth Social.
