Pakistani authorities are preparing to host a new round of ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran this week, intensifying diplomatic contacts with both Washington and Tehran, the Associated Press reported on Monday.
According to the news outlet, which cited sources with knowledge of the matter, Pakistan aims to ensure that the negotiations start "as soon as Thursday," when the current ceasefire is set to expire.
