DaVita said its revenue per dialysis treatment edged down in Q2 as more patients left Affordable Care Act plans after pandemic-era subsidies expired, even while the company topped profit expectations and reaffirmed its 2026 outlook.
DaVita, a Colorado-based dialysis provider, said average revenue per treatment slipped to $415.87 from $417.59. The company blamed the dip on more patients moving off Affordable Care Act coverage after extra subsidies ended, which can shift the “payer mix” toward plans that reimburse less for the same treatment. It also pointed to softer sales of phosphate binders, a common drug dialysis patients take.
