Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem stated on Friday that the military group rejected the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel and called for its cancellation.
"We do not agree to the pilot zones or their outcomes. The framework agreement is illegitimate, illegal, humiliating, and undermines Lebanese sovereignty," Qassem stated.
Moreover, the group's chief stressed that the Lebanese authorities chose a path that does not befit them, the country, and the "sacrifices of the Lebanese people." He also declared that Hezbollah hindered the "so-called Greater Israel project" and prevented Israeli forces from reaching Beirut.
