The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned Ukrainian Ambassador Naryman Dzhelialov on Saturday over a Ukrainian strike on two Turkish-operated vessels, Turkey's Anadolu news agency reported. According to a ministry source, Ukraine first targeted a vessel near the Russian port city of Tuapse in the Black Sea on August 26, and then also another boat that was sent to tow the first one.
The report said that ministry officials "stressed the necessity of ensuring the safety of life, property, navigation and the environment in the Black Sea" to Dzhelialov and warned him about future attacks.
