A tanker reported multiple explosions in close proximity while sailing about 60 nautical miles south of Al Mukha, Yemen, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Sunday.
According to the vessel's company security officer, the crew was safe and no environmental impact was reported.
"Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO," the statement read.
