'Medvedev: Blocking Russian satellites could trigger 'space war''

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warned on Sunday that an attempt to block the Russian satellite constellation could trigger a 'full-scale space war.'

"'Blocking' the Russian 'Rassvet' satellite constellation at the request of some idiot in Kyiv can only mean its destruction. And that will lead to a full-scale space war. I hope the Americans understand this. After all, their low-Earth orbit 'Starlink' satellites would then rain down like toys from a withered Christmas tree," Medvedev said in a Telegram post.

The official further said that space is a very small place, and "we need to be polite to one another.'
