Anthropic announced on Friday it is launching Claude Frontier Academy, backed by a $100 million commitment, to train 10,000 Frontier Deployed Engineers by the end of 2027.
The startup said the academy is designed to address a growing shortage of specialized talent capable of integrating AI into large organizations and turning enterprise deployments into measurable business results. The first cohorts include engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk.
The program is based on Anthropic's experience deploying Claude across major companies and working with professional services firms, the company said. It described the initiative as the first academy of its kind launched by an AI company, targeting a growing bottleneck in enterprise AI adoption: skilled workers who can implement and manage the technology inside businesses.
