'Rodriguez says China firmly backs Venezuela'

 Venezuelan Interim President Delcy Rodriguez said she met with China's Ambassador to Venezuela Lan Hu and expressed gratitude for Beijing's stance.

In a post on Telegram, Rodriguez noted that China condemned the United States' "kidnapping" of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, as well as actions directed against the country.

"We value China's firm and consistent stance in strongly condemning the serious violation of international law and Venezuelan sovereignty," Rodriguez said.
