United States President Donald Trump declared on Friday that "there will be voter ID" for the midterm elections, "whether approved by Congress or not."
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the Democrats refuse to vote for either voter ID or citizenship because "They want to continue to cheat in Elections," and that this "was not what our Founders desired."
"I have searched the depths of Legal Arguments not yet articulated or vetted on this subject, and will be presenting an irrefutable one in the very near future," the US president said, adding that "People of our Country are insisting on Citizenship, and No Mail-In Ballots."
