ByteDance Ltd.'s TikTok announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Apple Music on a new feature called "Play Full Song," which will allow users of the streaming platform to play full songs without leaving the social network.
Subscribers can search for a song on their TikTok "For You" page or Sound Detail Page, and tap the "Play Full Song" button to open up an Apple Music player in order to listen to the full track. The global launch of the feature is expected in the coming weeks.
"This integration not only makes it easier for fans to discover, listen to, and engage with the artists they love, but also creates a powerful new pathway for artists - turning moments of discovery into deeper connection and sustained engagement in one simple, seamless experience," Apple Music's co-head Ole Obermann commented.
