The UAE's air defense systems intercepted nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones on Saturday, according to the Ministry of Defence.
Since the beginning of Iran's attacks, UAE air defences have faced 294 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,600 drones. According to the ministry, six people have died as a result of these attacks, including nationals of the UAE, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. An additional 144 persons were hurt.
Earlier today, media reported that some oil loading operations at the UAE's Fujairah port were suspended when a fire broke out after debris fell during the interception of an Iranian drone.
