Israel says UK must act after London stabbing

 Israel's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that the United Kingdom "must act decisively and urgently" after a stabbing attack targeting Jewish individuals in London.

"Prime Minister Keir Starmer's statements are no substitute for confronting the roots of antisemitism festering across the United Kingdom," the ministry stressed on X, adding that "British Jews should not need security patrols and emergency volunteers to live openly as Jews."

After two Jewish people were stabbed in Golders Green, Starmer said the incident was "deeply concerning" and confirmed an investigation had been launched. The attack follows a series of incidents involving Jewish institutions, with the ministry warning the situation is "no longer under control."
