An oil tanker belonging to a company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was seized by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz, Fars News Agency reported on Monday, citing marine navigation data.
The media outlet shared that Iranian officials have made it clear that all vessels must use only the route Tehran provides, alongside other rules that must be followed.
It was further mentioned that the tanker was stopped near the Qeshm island.
