The United States State Department's Rewards for Justice program announced Tuesday a $10 million reward for information on five Iranian men accused of stealing data from the United States on behalf of Tehran.
The program identified the five men as Behzad Mesri, Keyvan Fayyaz, Mojtaba Ghaleh-Kuh, Arman Kahzadian, and Saber Shahbazi, alleging that they have ties to Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
A total of 17 Iranians have been charged in connection with a large-scale cyber theft campaign allegedly conducted on behalf of the Iranian government, targeting US universities, private-sector companies, and at least five federal and state government agencies.
