The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Tuesday that its troops struck Hamas commanders earlier in the day in the northern area of the Gaza Strip.
"The terrorists planned to carry out terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip. The terrorists were struck in a precise aerial strike to remove the threat," the IDF shared on Telegram.
Earlier today, the Israeli military claimed that it eliminated a commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who allegedly participated in the October 7 attack on Israel.
