Novo Nordisk Q2 sales at $12.1B, up 2%

Novo Nordisk A/S announced on Tuesday that its net sales in the second quarter of its fiscal 2026 rose 2% year-over-year, reaching 78.48 billion Danish kroner ($12.2 billion). At the same time, operating profit plunged 19% in the reported quarter, coming in at 27.06 billion Danish kroner. Net profit slumped 21% to stand at 20.98 billion Danish kroner.

The company updated its full-year 2026 outlook, expecting adjusted sales at constant exchange rates to range from flat to a 6% decline, while reported sales growth is projected at a midpoint of 5%.

"The increased US GLP-1 momentum, combined with continued growth and new launches in International Operations, has led us to further raise our 2026 guidance for both adjusted sales and adjusted operating profit," Mike Doustdar, president and CEO of Novo Nordisk, stated.

The global healthcare provider's shares declined 5.32% at 1:15 pm ET after the report's release.
