US President Donald Trump said Monday the United States would maintain its naval blockade of Iran until “a deal or total surrender is accomplished.”
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the US Navy completely controlled the Strait of Hormuz and that nothing would reach Iran unless Washington allowed it.
He also said talks with Tehran had begun, with more scheduled in the immediate future, despite Iran’s public denial that discussions with the United States were taking place.
