The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Monday that it eliminated Hamas' commander in charge of weapons supply for the militant group in Gaza City, Amr Muhammad Rushdi Sarrag.
The Israeli military revealed that Sarrag was killed during the IDF's attack in Gaza City's Sabra area earlier in the day and that another operative in Hamas' military wing was also attacked during that operation.
"The terrorists have recently promoted terrorist plots against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel and have worked to restore the organization's capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire," the IDF stated.
