'Iran’s hardline daily criticizes Pezeshkian for failing to adopt a ‘wartime posture’'

 

Iran’s hardline Kayhan newspaper criticized President Masoud Pezeshkian’s government on Sunday for failing to adopt a “wartime posture.”

“The economy and people’s livelihoods are an integral part of hybrid warfare. Yet, despite more than 150 days having passed since the war began, we still see no wartime posture in the Pezeshkian government,” said the newspaper, whose editor-in-chief is appointed by the Supreme Leader.

It also criticized parliament for failing to adjust its approach adequately to the war and said some government officials continued to create distractions.
