AbbVie Inc. and Revolution Medicines Inc. are nearing a deal, as the talks have reached an advanced stage, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
The media outlet said that while AbbVie's buyout price is still unknown, following a potential agreement, Revolution Medicines' market cap, which currently stands at some $16 billion, could reach $20 billion or more.
Sources revealed that the deal might be sealed soon, if no last-minute issues arise. Revolution Medicines' stock rallied 28.87% following the report.
