OpenAI Inc. introduced ChatGPT Health on Wednesday, a new feature that combines the users' health information and the chatbot's intelligence together.
According to a company statement, users will now be able to "securely connect" medical records and wellness apps to ChatGPT, in order for the conversation to be more "relevant and useful." OpenAI stressed, however, that the feature should only be used as support and not a replacement for clinicians, adding that it should not be used for diagnosis or treatment.
The new tool will initially be available to a small group of early users. Nonetheless, OpenAI plans to expand this access to all of the users later on.
