A number of people noticed something about the slaughter in Iran when the government turned on its own people and began shooting tens of thousands of Iranians in cold blood. What they noticed is that the same activists who protested for two years about an imaginary genocide in Gaza were silent about what was (and is) happening in Iran. That’s because the real issue wasn’t the Gaza dead; it was their hatred for Israel and their Islamo-Marxist desire for its destruction.
As Students for a Democratic Society (the radical leftist organization that birthed Bill Ayers and, by extension, Barack Obama) used to say during the 1960s, “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.” In other words, what they’re protesting is never the end in itself; it’s always a means to an end.
I thought of that when I saw this video—a video that Olivia Jensen herself proudly loaded onto her TikTok page—in which Jensen admitted loudly and clearly that she is an out-and-proud racist who has no sympathy whatsoever for the children illegal aliens are raping or the people they’re murdering. (I’ve grabbed the video in case she deletes it. Also, language warning.)
I haven’t transcribed the whole video. Just the meat of it. If you haven’t watched the video, the person I’ve identified as “IO-1” (that is, the first ICE officer, versus “IO-2”, the second ICE officer) is Hispanic:
JENSEN: How does it feel to be a race trader?
IO-1: You know, we were trying to get a child molester, right?
JENSEN: No, you weren’t.
IO-1: Yes, we were.
IO-2: How would you know?
JENSEN: Because it was a woman you talked to.
IO-1: No.
IO-2: His wife.
IO-1: And then his plate came back as murder.
IO-2: Also, I was just want to say, calling someone a race traitor...
IO-1: But you guys don’t care.
IO-2: ...I hope you realize that is the most racist thing you can say as a white woman.
IO-1: It’s incredible.
JENSEN: Of course, it is.
IO-2: So you know, this isn’t a good look for you.
JENSEN: You think I care about my look?
IO-2: No, no, no, trust me. When you guys are— It is evident by how you look, you don’t care. We get that, trust me. No, that’s all I’m saying. I’m just saying this...trying to be a social warrior. If you actually cared, you probably would care about the child who got raped and also the person who got murdered by the person that we were looking for. But see, you don’t care.
JENSEN: No, I don’t care because you guys, you just try to detain legal immigrants. None of you actually give a ****. If you were here to get illegal violent immigrants off the street, that would be fine.
IO-1: We were! We were!
JENSEN: That’s not what you’re doing. It’s not what you’re doing.
The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution. Jensen truly doesn’t care. She doesn’t care about racism, pedophilia, or murder. She simply cares about destroying ICE because that’s what her Marxist masters have told her to care about.
The same thing happened with Israel. Israel was the victim of a surprise genocidal attack that saw thousands of Gazans pour across the border to rape, torture, and murder Israeli civilians, including babies. Civilians were the target, and cruelty was the modus operandi.
In response, Israel first gave Hamas the opportunity to surrender the actors, which also gave it time to shield women and children. Hamas did neither.
At that point, Israel reluctantly went to war, and did so with the most exquisite care in all of human warfare. Israel’s goal, often at the expense of its military advantage or its soldiers’ lives, was aimed at protecting Gazan civilians—a difficult task when the enemy deliberately embedded itself among its own civilians. Hospitals, schools, apartments...they were all proven to be armories, hideouts, entryways to tunnels, and platforms for missiles and mortars.
Yet for two years, across the West, Marxists rampaged through campuses and streets demanding Israel’s death and destruction for committing “genocide.” The issue, ostensibly, was genocide, and Israel’s lack of reverence for innocent civilians.
However, that this was a lie was proven irrefutably when Iranian citizens, desperately trying to free themselves from the mullahs’ tyrannical grip, took to the streets. When their own government turned on them, and the slaughter began, the only sound from the same people in the West who had demanded Israel’s end was...crickets:
These people care about only one thing, which is advancing the Islamo-Marxist cause. Everything else is performative, with what used to be called a MacGuffin: A meaningless object given meaning only to advance the plot.
The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.
