BASF Pharma Solutions announced on Monday that it will raise prices up to 20% for excipients and selected APIs.
The company said the adjustment reflects rising global energy and raw-material costs and added that it would continue to monitor market conditions for any further changes.
Inactive excipients support drug formulations, while APIs provide the therapeutic effect.
