Qatar's Defense Ministry announced on Monday that it intercepted a "number of drones" from Iran. At the same time, multiple media reports said that explosions were heard in the nation's capital, Doha.
According to the ministry, all threats were successfully neutralized by air defense systems. Blasts reportedly also occurred in neighboring countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, as Iran continued to attack US assets in the region.
There was no information about casualties or damage.
