WH: US to test new Iranian regime

 White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt assured on Monday that anything that the alleged new Iranian regime tells Washington in private negotiations will be tested, and that "grave consequences" await Tehran should it fail to deliver on its promises.

While speaking to the press, Leavitt noted that "we will ensure that they're being held accountable to their word, and if they're not, the president [Donald Trump] has laid out the military consequences that the Iranian regime will see."

"These folks are appearing more reasonable behind the scenes privately in these conversations than perhaps some of the previous leaders who are now no longer on planet Earth because they lied to the United States, and they strung us along in negotiations, and that was unacceptable to the president," Leavitt said.
