The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated a Hamas operative Sabaei Zahir Abd al-Hamid Abu Hasna, in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday.
According to the military, Al-Hamid Abu Hasna was a member of Hamas' elite Nukhba Force and participated in the October 7 attack. The IDF also claimed that the killed operative held Omer Shem Tov hostage, forcing the captive to kiss his head in front of cameras at a hostage handover event.
The IDF confirmed that it struck three other Hamas gunmen over the weekend.
