Israel says it intercepted several Hezbollah rockets

 The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that it intercepted several rockets that Hezbollah launched from southern Lebanon.

In an X post, the military said that, in response, it struck a rocket launcher Hezbollah used on that occasion.

Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that a recently agreed deal between the United States and Iran does not forbid his country from continuing its operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Meanwhile, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee posted on X that State Secretary Marco Rubio "made clear that Iran & Hezbollah aren’t linked in a deal."
